Students of the Economic Department of the Partium Christian University in Oradea and Ede Christian University participated in the International Business Carousel Program during November 11-16, 2018. The program is an intensive learning process that strengthens the theoretical knowledge gained in classes. In this program the students interviewed experts from the most current economic themes.
On the first day students of the Partium Christian University in Oradea and Ede Christian University participated on a trip, the role of the excursion was the integration of the Hungarian and Dutch students and the presentation of the cultural and religious traditions of the region. We participated at the Várad-Újvárosi church service, visited the reformed church in Sişterea and the reformed church and the chapel of Sîntimreu de Munte.
The following day the theoretical presentation of the program was carried out. The task of the four-person groups was to prepare questions for experts and to create an interview strategy. During the practice, we ran the most current economic themes: EU and Brexit's accession, social inequality, inequality between men and women and the development of Romania.
On the third day, interviews with experts took place: József Hámos (international entrepreneurship, energy industry, carbohydrate exploitation), Gyula Zatykó (international entrepreneurship in Romania, state administration authorities, counselor of the Mayor of Oradea), Árpád Szabó (economic effects of smoking , consulting in social affairs, the effects of confidence in economic efficiency) and Gyula Flórián (management of business center, business administration).
The following days the students prepared reports and presentations from information obtained of the interviews with experts.
During the week, we participated at the Kálmán Kincses presentation entitled "Fresco Story", visited the Evangelical-Lutheran Church, the Roman Catholic Church "Szent László", the Oradea Fortress, where we participated at the "Salvador Dalí - Marc Chagall - Giorgio de Chirico biblical themes exhibition ", Oradea City Hall and Town Hall Tower.
We would like to thank the kind help of the pastor of the university Abigél Szomor, the above mentioned experts, Benjamin Zelicicovich and Alexandra Erdős as translators, and last but not least our colleagues at Partium Christian University and Ede Christian University.
