Iván Bélyácz, Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences

Mr. Iván Belyácz is an ordinary member of Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 2010. He is a professor emeritus of Finance at University of Pécs, a core member of Business Administration Doctoral School at the University of Pécs.  He is also the member of Management Sciences Institute of University of Pécs. His research area covers financial economics topics, including corporate investment decisions, amortization theory and practice, corporate finance systems theory, company's capital structure, foreign direct investment and external debt relationship, and ethical aspects of corporate performance measurement.

Daniel Dăianu is chairman of the Fiscal Council, is member of the Romanian Academy, professor of economics at The School of Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest; member of the EU High Level Group on Own Resources; co-editor of “The Crisis of the Eurozone and the Future of Europe” (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014), author of “Emerging Europe and the Great Recession”(Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2018) and “Which Way Goes Capitalism?”, CEU Press, Budapest/New York, 2009. He was a Member of the Board, The National Bank of Romania (2014-2019); First deputy President of the Financial Supervision Authority (2013-2014); former member of the European Parliament (2007-2009); Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Banca Comercială Romana (2005-2007); Finance Minister of Romania, (1997-1998); Chief Economist of the National Bank of Romania (1992-1997); Chairman of The Romanian Economic Society.


Csaba Bálint, Board Member of the National Bank of Romania

Csaba Bálint is Member of the Board at National Bank of Romania (since 2019), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA charterholder since 2019), PhD student in Finance, Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Doctoral School of Finance, with over 14 years of experience in the banking industry. He has graduated from Faculty of Socio-Human Sciences (Management specialization), Partium Christian University, Oradea in 2008, and he holds an MSc degree in Finance and Banking (DOFIN), from Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Bucharest. He is a former Macroeconomic Analyst of OTP Bank România (2014-2019). His macroeconomic research was recognized by international economic survey organizations, such as London based Consensus Economics (Forecast Accuracy Award Winner – 2018) and FocusEconomics headquartered in Barcelona (#1 Best Overall Forecaster – 2018, #2 Best Overall Forecaster – 2016). He also lectures at universities in Cluj-Napoca and Oradea.
